2017 'The Birth of Project HackTrack'
Hacktrack is basically a breakthrough in the Pentest environment which is very wide in scope. hacktrack which was previously a secret project by the founder of this project. Because he said 'Hacktrack is a distro of ideas focused on live systems worked on in conjunction with the Xenta OS Linux project, an unpublished hacktrack'

2018 'Project HackTrack disappeared'

2019 'Dead domain and inactive project status'
During the years between 2019 to 2020, project stall and domain death for http://www.hacktrack-linux.org/ and loss of founder's github account access.

2020 'HackTrack project rebirth and forking'
The news of the hacktrack project being covered in the media Tegal1337.

2021 'Establishment of the HTGL Project'
About the HTGL Project is as follows
Founder says;
"We exist and exist because we have something in common in the open source field. Initially present as a team in the development of <<Hack|Track GNU/Linux spark plug distributions.
We grow and develop and now we focus on HTGL Project. The name of our organization is unknown because we joined from our respective community bases. More precisely we are a group of people who develop open source software projects."

2022 'Road to Release [Release Candidate]'
Release Candidate is a cdimage which is an .iso file which is created weekly uploaded with new updates every weekend. There will be a Final Release called RF (Release Fixed).

Building the distro requires testing of various hardware. It takes a tester in the development of this distro to make it better. so we from the TEAM HTGL Project released this RC so that other friends together in developing this distribution.

2023 '[UPDATE] Road to Release [Release Candidate]'
RC is a cdimage in the form of a.iso file created at the end of each month uploaded with new updates already packaged. There will be a Final Release called RF (Fixed Release) at the end of each year.

Building the distro requires testing of various hardware. It takes a tester in the development of this distro to make it better. so we from the TEAM HTGL Project released this RC so that other friends together in developing this distribution.
